It's official!

Benedict Cumberbatch will be voicing Smaug in "The Hobbit." As we suspected last month, but didn't know for sure. Not only that, he'll be providing motion capture for the CGI dragon. He is ALSO - wait for it - providing the voice of the Necromancer.
Who's that? Just the guy who grows up to be Sauron.
